Welcome to Day 3 of my birthday week! Tomorrow's the big day! I have lots of fun stuff to give away tomorrow. But today I have some awesomeness, too! Today a SIGNED copy of 52 Reasons to Hate My Father is up for grabs. This book is pure delight, so I'm psyched to share it with you guys.

My favorite birthday memory when I was 6 and got my first birthday cake, and it had the most beautiful frosting flowers on them!

I just turned 24 and I was in a serious relationship with the man I would someday marry. My whole family threw me a party: we ate at the Mandarin Buffet restaurant and all went back to my parent's house to celebrate. Everyone was there and those that weren't, called over the phone. There were a lot of presents, food, and love. I felt like it truly was MY day! One of the best memories of my birthday, ever.

ReplyDeleteWhen I was about 8, I was at my cousin's house for the summer and we were celebrating my birthday (late). I remember I was tan and wearing my FAVORITE purple outfit! Best of all, I had a mint chocolate chip ice cream(my favorite) snoopy shaped cake!

Five years ago all my friends, family & wonderful co-workers surprised me with a HUGE surprise dinner at one of our nicest restaurants! It was the sweetest thing ever, and the only surprise party I've ever been given so it meant the world to me!! <3

My 30th birthday. I had just found out I was pregnant with my 4th child and wasn't pretty depressed. We were supposed to have a quiet dinner at my mom's house. I opened the door and about 50 people were crammed into my mother's house yelling surprise! Even my dad came from out of state.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite bday memory is my 27th, when my then boyfriend asked me to marry him. I wasn't expecting it in the least, and it completely blew me away. Of course I said Heck Yeah, and am happily married. Incredibly so!
