I'm super excited to be sharing this cover reveal today. Not only do I have the gorgeous cover to share, but I also have the first chapter for you to read AND a giveaway for you. Awesome.

About Black City:

ReplyDeleteI adore this cover. I like the way it's a flower, but it's shattering, which makes it so unique! Plus, I love the addition of a city, which adds the dystopian flare!
The cover is beautiful, although I dislike the font used for the title "Black City".

ReplyDeleteIt's not my favorite cover, but I like that they did something different and visually interesting with the flower. It's pretty cool looking. Hadn't heard of this book until today (I don't know why), but it intrigues me!

ReplyDeleteLove the cover! It's really unique, and I love that the rose looks like some kind of bloody red, frozen snow falling on the black city.
Holy crap!!! This cover is gorgeous. The colors, the dynamics, the energy! And it's so original, too - no pretty girls in pretty dresses (THANK YOU!). Not to mention that the synopsis sounds very delicious and intriguing - I'd love me a copy of this pure awesomeness!

The first time I saw the cover I thought it was very powerful. The image of something so delicate and fragile exploding and shattering like that is very vivid. The cover alone would inspire me to buy this book!

I know I shouldn't judge books by their covers but if not much effort is put into the cover art, how much could be put into the book itself, you know? That why covers like the one for Black City are great and I think it goes well with the synopsis of the book.
